What a hidden gem! The winding road leading to the property adds to the charm of staying at this enchanting place. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even providing us with directions and a spare litre of petrol when we were in need. The homemade meals were a delicious treat, showcasing the best of the local produce. The quirky, peaceful atmosphere and clean air made for a truly relaxing stay. The hosts' kindness and generosity truly made us feel welcome and taken care of.

The common lounge with a piano and bookshelves was like stepping into a sophisticated library, where I could enjoy a cup of coffee and immerse myself in the enchanting melodies floating from the piano keys.

No TV and weak Wi-Fi signal.

We got incredible value for our money at this quirky and bohemian hotel. The room was beautifully styled and the bed was very comfortable. The location was peaceful and surrounded by clean air, and the hosts were absolutely charming and welcoming.

The food for breakfast could have been better, especially the coffee.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming home-stay in the Calvados region of Normandy. Le Chant Des Fees, nestled in peaceful green surroundings, offered the perfect escape from city life. The beautifully styled bedroom with a comfortable bed made for a restful sleep. The small suite setup, complete with a separate shower/toilet area and a cozy dining space, added to the overall comfort of the stay. I was delightfully surprised by the pre-booked local recipe meal that included a bottle of the delicious local cider. Breakfast in the morning was a treat, served with attention to detail. The owners, who are both artists, had their unique pieces on display throughout the house, adding a touch of bohemian charm to the ambiance.

    Can recommend this hotel.

Common lounge with a piano and bookshelves: While staying at this charming hotel, I stumbled upon the common lounge and couldn't resist trying my hand at the piano. As I played a few notes, I felt like a world-class pianist, serenading the bookshelves with my impromptu concert.

Hard to find: Initially, I had some trouble locating the hotel, spending an hour driving around in circles. However, this was mostly my fault for not following the directions provided by the host.

The best aspects of my weekend at this hotel were the charming hosts and the beautifully styled bedroom. The host was absolutely delightful and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing weekend away in the countryside.

The worst aspect of my stay was the lack of a TV and the weak Wi-Fi signal. It would have been nice to have the option to watch some television during my downtime, especially since there wasn't much to do in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique hotel in the countryside. The location in the garden was peaceful and provided a beautiful view. The room was beautifully styled and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with organic food options. The hosts were friendly and provided excellent service, even going out of their way to help us with directions and petrol.

The location was a bit far from the motorway, but the peaceful surroundings made up for it.

This place is truly a hidden gem! The drive to the house was like something out of a movie, with stunning rural surroundings. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure our stay was a fantastic experience. We had a delicious dinner with tasteful local products, and the breakfast was equally satisfying. The artistic vibe of the house added to its charm, and we enjoyed the company of the cute cats and dogs outside. The hosts were also kind enough to pack us a homemade breakfast to take on the road. A memorable stay indeed!

Finding the place was a bit challenging, as Google Maps led us astray. Luckily, the hosts had sent directions, which we should have followed from the start.

The hotel had a very unique and artistic vibe, with the owners being artists themselves. The old house had been beautifully renovated in their style. The organic food provided, including a wonderful vegetarian meal, was delicious. The bedroom was charmingly styled with a comfortable bed and there was even a small suite available. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful.

Felt really like home, no complaints whatsoever.

Quaint countryside stay, picturesque road. Late arrival, offered dinner. Sweet hosts, great talk. Packed homemade breakfast for road trip. Bathroom smells like France. Cats & dogs outside, beware allergies. Peaceful, green surroundings, stunning sunsets. Attentive hosts, Norman-style dinner. Quirky, bohemian, superior to chains. Organic foods, excellent vegetarian meal. Lovely people, great experience.

For the price we paid, Le Chant Des Fees was an absolute steal. The room was beautifully styled and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location, though a bit hard to find, was like something out of a movie. The hosts were so sweet and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
